    Great podcast guys! Just wanted you to know that I’ve been playing Animal Crossing daily since the day it came out. I’m in a group that wifi’s quite often, so it doesn’t surprise me that it’s up there in the stats.

    Maybe when the 360 can get games that actually appeal to the Japanese gaming market, it might actually get more sales. First person shooters and real time strategy games just don’t fly over there. Don’t blame poor Japanese 360 sales to them “fearing outsiders”.

  3. Dasme said:

    KillerHeroes: We know that isn’t the reason for the 360s poor sales, we were just being a little tongue in cheek with our comments. Usually when we say something as bizarre as going to Japan and taking all the 360s back, you can assume we are joking ;)

    There are many reasons for the poor sales in Japan, Sony and Nintendo having HUGE market share over there is one of them, and the 360s failure to deliver titles that appeal to the Japanese audience is another. The huge hulking size of both the original XBOX and 360 didn’t help them out either.

    That was joking? Sounded like a good idea to me.

    Glad you two are enjoying pokemon so much and you may want to think about getting a gba game secondhand sometime, they aren’t as good as the newest gaes but they are quite fun, you also can get the starters and legends that aren’t available on the lastest games so more things to trade to people over Wi-Fi. Also when you insert one of the gba cartridges you can also catch other pokemon on your DS games. ^_^

    This is the first episode I have listened to and I found it quite enjoyable. I am actually new to the DS system. I haven’t even decided what game to start with yet. (I know, I know, but I’m a mom so GBA had to last a bit longer) I have also shunned the Pokemon experience in pass because I despised the show when my son used to watch it. I am ashamed to admit it, but now I am completely overwhelmed with what the game actually entails. Maybe I’ll try it later on when I get my feet a little further into the DS door. Anyways, I think I am done rambling now. Thanks for the informative podcast and I look forward to listening again.

    Then like always, a nice double update, and a month to wait for a new one.

  7. Arti said:

    Yet again, Lloyd and Edgar are slacking off. This was a nice podcast, though. Just make a podcast every two or three weeks at least.

  8. Dasme said:

    I wouldn’t call it slacking off. Stuff comes up that makes it impossible for us to record.

    We have the best intentions and do want to continue GIVING you guys this FREE podcast. It takes plenty of time and money to do this, and we aren’t complaining, just ask that you guys bear with us when there is a delay instead of coming here and complaining. Patience makes us all happy ;)

    @Dasme
    Thank you for your podcast. It is the first one I listen to when I do my weekly sync. (when there is one)
    I understand real life gets in the way. There are more important things to do then a stupid video game show. The problem I have with the delay the show is out of date. By the time you edit and put out your show it is weeks out of date. If I can make a suggestion, don’t try and play catch up. Briefly touch on the past, but give us the new news. Other podcasts and web sites have already talked about what you are talking about.
    So thanks again.

    @Alphateam

    That’s a good point, and something we are fixing. Our editing delays of old shouldn’t crop up again, just a delay in doing any recording at all.

    Hoping to have something for you guys to listen to soon! Thanks for your comments!

    Hi, Lloyd&Edgar.
    New stuff would be nice.
    I daily(well, kinda) check for updates
    on DS:Life&Wiispot.
    Nothing for over a month.
    Well nothing in podcast form,
    that is.
    I understand it’s annoying
    for people to complain about slow updates
    when you don’t even HAVE to do this.
    Just saying it’d be nice to have
    more frequents updates.
    Keep up the good work!

    I agree, sadly our time schedule has ben making this impossible to do. I should have something Wii related up very soon, and something DS related this week.

  13. Arti said:

    Yeah, sorry Dasme. But the thing I’m worried about is that they still call it a weekly podcast. I’d have no problem with a podcast every 2 and half weeks.

  14. Arti said:

    And BTW, who are you?

  15. Dasme said:

    @Arti

    Dasme = Lloyd

    Edgar has been unable to record lately (Checkout the WiiSpot podcast for more info), so there is nothing we can do. I’m trying my darnedest to get something out but without my partner there to record with me its impossible. Not that our recording issues are all on his shoulders, not saying that at all.

    June and July have just been way too busy, something that both Edgar and I are not very happy about.

    Hope to have something soon.

  16. Arti said:

    ZOMG. Try announcing that at least. I can recommend DSFanboy and this site:

    http://nintendo-ds.dcemu.co.uk/

    (DCEmu) for news on everything, including homebrew updates. I look forward to your next podcast, and good luck. If you need help gathering interesting infos, I’m your man. And if youu could, mention r4forum.tk in youur podcast once. Thanks.

  17. Arti said:

    Just…yeah. And nintendo.com’s good too.

  18. WTI said:

    Still waiting for new stuff….

    Something DS related this week, huh… I guess we shouldn’t blame them. They have private lives as well.

    Hey guys love your podcast but i’ve just noticed that u haven’t been putting anypodcasts in a while and i was wondering what is up with that?

  21. Arti said:

    Listen, Lloyd, I kinda need help. Me and a few friends wanna make a podcast as well, but I need to know how you guys record your podcast. Which program?

  22. Arti said:

    Man, Lloyd, don’t leave us hanging. I just listened to your first podcast, and I’m on the brink of bursting out in tears…

  23. Dasme said:

    We are touched that you all are such loyal fans! We appreciate the kind words (and not so kind), and the patience you guys have shown. Edgar and I are back on track, having recorded a DS:Life and Wiispot podcast this weekend. Expect them up in a few days!

  24. WTI said:

    What was the first podcast like, Arti?

  25. Arti said:

    I guess, kinda n00bish, but it was alright. I mean the teaser podcast episode with Steve.

  26. WTI said:

    Steve was in the first few podcasts, actually.
    Why’d he quit?

  27. Arti said:

    …I guess he did kinda sound like a gay supernerd…

  28. Arti said:

    HOW LONG’RE WE GON’ WAIT. HUH, LLOYD?

  29. WTI said:

    Dude, Arti.
    Quit posting constantly.
